[Resolved] Hi, I can't find the WPML plug-in in WP
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was unable to find and install the WPML plugin and the OTGS installer from the WordPress dashboard. Solution: We advised the client to download the OTGS Installer from their WPML.org account at https://wpml.org/download/otgs-installer/?section=changelog. After downloading, they should navigate to their site's backend > Plugins > Add new > Uploads > Upload the zip file > then install the plugin and activate it. Additionally, we suggested downloading the plugins directly from https://wpml.org/download for manual installation.
If the solution provided does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to find the WPML plugin in the WordPress dashboard of my website hidden link. I am also looking for the OTGS installer.
Symptoms:
I can't find the WPML plugin or the OTGS installer in the WordPress dashboard.
Questions:
How can I find the WPML plugin in the WordPress dashboard?
How can I locate the OTGS installer?
After that, go to your site's backend > Plugins > Add new > Uploads > Upload the zip file > then install the plugin and activate it.
You can also download the plugins directly if you prefer to do that, and you will find them here: https://wpml.org/download (just choose to download the plugins manually so that you can see the full list).
Thanks for getting back to me.
I can't see how to install the OTGS installer.
After downloading I just get a bunch of folders with no clear path forward.
The same goes for downloading manually.
I used WPML before and it was no trouble to find the plug-in from within the WP dashboard.
Sth. must have changed, either on your side or on my end.
Best,
Adrian
You should get a zip file (archive) when you download a plugin from our site.
But your browser might have specific settings that automatically extract an archive after you download a zip file, which is probably why you are seeing folders instead.
If you can create a whole website backup and then share the site access in the private fields I am enabling below, I am more than happy to install the main WPML plugin.
I am happy to hear you could resolve the issue mentioned initially in the ticket.
Also, regarding the new issue you mentioned in the last reply, please note that, per our Support Policy, we can handle only one problem per ticket.

Can you please mark this ticket as resolved and open a new ticket for any new issue you encounter (one ticket per issue) so we can properly focus on and tackle each one?
Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.
