Background of the issue:
I was editing the homepage after the site migration and it was working fine. The site is 4dpf.com.

Symptoms:
The language switcher stopped working on the homepage. It should redirect to /?lang=*language* but it redirects to /. This issue does not occur on other pages.

Questions:
Why is the language switcher not working on the homepage?
How can I fix the language switcher to redirect correctly on the homepage?

Hello there,

I checked it and the issue is with the plugin Redirect Redirection, we tested it on chat, but we were seeing a cached version of the site(probably a cache coming from the site's CDN/Firewall that seems to be Cloudfare).

In essence, in the video I show that if we disable the 'Redirect Redirection' and try to access the secondary languages with a dummy param like ?nocache or ?nc just to bypass cache, we're able to see the home page in the secondary languages just fine.

If we re-enable the plugin and test it, even with the parameter in the URL, the site is redirected to the main language.

Can you please reach out to the plugin support and ask them to help you find a configuration that will allow you to use the plugin without affecting the language switcher functionality?
