Tell us what you are trying to do?
I'm using a Divi theme, and have enabled additional text to be present when a user hovers over a text box, as well as when the page is accessed on a phone. Other text on the page is translated to French (from English).

Is there a similar example that we can see?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

Please log in to this sandbox site and install the Divi theme. (hidden link)

After that, please create a test page using the same widget to replicate the issue. If it is reproducible, please let me know how to reproduce it so I can consult our compatibility team.

Best regards,
Osama

I added the Divi theme and imported my page to the sandbox. Then I proceeded to translate the page contents, and publish it. The page worked as expected.

The part I can't figure out is while it works in the sandbox, I compared the string translations, and the content of fields like "et_pb_text: content__hover, content_phone" are in French on both sites. Why it doesn't work on mine is a mistery.

At least, I found a workaround by accessing the page in French, and then using the Divi Builder to copy the French string translations in the hover and phone sections. Now the French translations show up.

The only part that remained different is that in the sandbox I did the translations manually, and my site uses automatic translations.

Thanks,
