Hello Team,

We are using the JTL Connector Plugin to transfer Data from WooCommerce to our JTL WAWI (other Shop software). The Issue is that WPML is not compatibel with the newest version of the Connector PLugin und now we are trying the beta version of the plugin.

The beta is listing following compatibility:

WooCommerce Multilingual - 4.9 | Our Version Version 5.2.0
Multilingual CMS - 4.3 | Our Version Version 4.6.5
String Translation - 3.0 | Our Version Version 3.2.7
Translation Management - 2.9 | Our Version
Media Translation - 2.5 | Our Version Version 2.7.3 (not important)

Do you have any idea how we can kind of downgrade the plugins to fit the version criteria of our connector plugin beta?

The issue is that I downgraded just the string translation to 3.0 and it broke everything ..

How Can I check the inter-compatibility of the plugins ?

Greatings,

Martin

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support!

Did try using JTL Connector Plugin with the latest versions of all plugins? Because even if plugin developers state that something is not compatible, it may only mean that it was not tested with these versions, but perhaps it is working properly.

As for downgrades, we don't have a guide for this because we tend to fix issues in existing versions and not downgrade. Also there were major changes in how String Translation works ( translations fetched from databases to mo files) so I'm not sure if we can support downgrades, perhaps you can use our older plugins in the staging environment and then use the JTL plugin and then finally export and import data to another website.

Hello Bruno,

You exactly mentioned the issue ... it is the string translation with the new changes, that are not working at the moment with the JTL-Connector Plugin.

I understand now why ..

We also thought that downgrading may be not the best option.

Hmm.. then me and my team need to think how to solve the issue differently. It is exact the string translation, that is not submitted to the plugin. The language code and the rest works fine, but the Titles are in the default language.

Ok. hmm I guess, then you helped me out with at least finding the issue.

Ähm. Can you tell me, at which version you changed the string translation things ?

Greatings,

Martin

Thank you. Thats the reason they have the string translation 3.0 as the last compatible version.

Thanks for your information.
