Hello,

I want that WPML will use translated post/page URL in the blog articles if there internal links, for example on some articles on our blog we have some internal links, and for some of them have translated version, so WPML can recognize it and set the internal link of the translated version instead the global version?

Thank you.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

When the target page is translated, the internal links pointing to it should be redirected automatically to the translated URL. This is because WPML is designed to automatically translate internal links if the pages of the URLs are translated.

However, if the links are not translated automatically, you can manually adjust them by going to WPML-> Settings-> Translate Link Targets and clicking on "Scan now and adjust links" .

---

In the case where WPML wasn't able to translate these links and link them properly, you might instead use WPML string translation and see if you could manually find and translate that string in there along with the URL :
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/#translating-strings

Please let me know if this answers your question.

Kind regards,
Marsel
