How to translate Elementor widget ‘Advanced Tab’ - JupiterX

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing issues with translating the 'Advanced Tab' widget in Elementor using WPML, where the translation is not displayed.
Solution:
We recommend following these steps to ensure proper translation:
1. Add the following XML code to WPML > Settings > Custom XML Configuration:


<widget name="raven-tabs">
  <fields-in-item items_of="tabs">
    <field type="Tab title" editor_type="LINE">tab_title</field>
    <field type="Tab content" editor_type="LINE">tab_content</field>
    <field type="Tab template ID" editor_type="LINE">tab_custom_template</field>
  </fields-in-item>
</widget>

2. After adding the code, edit the page where the widget is used, click on 'Update', and then update the translation.
3. Ensure to translate the template ID as well.
Note: Add the Advanced Tab widget to only one container. Adding it under a second container might cause the translation to not work properly.

nicoleR-11	Hi I replicated the issue: 1. Imported the three templates RTK Base, Laser Tracker and GPS with Abo into the sandbox. 2. I created a new page with Elementor. 3. I added a container. 4. I added "Advanced Tab" to the container. 5. I translated the three templates RTK Base, Laser Tracker and GPS with Abo 6. I added the templates into the "Advanced Tab" Widget: Items --> Content type = Template --> choose a template 7. I translated the page. 8. Publish 9. Check: translation not displayed Regards, Nicole

Add the XML code below to WPML > Settings > Custom XML Configuration <widget name="raven-tabs"> <fields-in-item items_of="tabs"> <field type="Tab title" editor_type="LINE">tab_title</field> <field type="Tab content" editor_type="LINE">tab_content</field> <field type="Tab template ID" editor_type="LINE">tab_custom_template</field> </fields-in-item> </widget> 2. Edit the page > Click on Update > Update the translation. 3. Translate the template ID. Another note, you should add the Advanced Tab widget to one Container only. nicoleR-11	Hi. Thank you! Translating the menu has finally worked. Super. The same procedere for the Tabs did not work unfortunately. Advanced Tabs: I have now added the code you specified to the WPML Custom XSL and then translated the string translations of the corresponding templates, as you have shown. Now the tab headings are displayed translated, but the rest is not. (The advanced tabs are only in one container each.)

nicoleR-11	Hi. Now it works. It needed some time (approx. 30min) until the translation was visible. So I will close the ticket. Thank you for your help. There is still an issue with the translation of the Jet forms. But for this I have to create a new ticket, haven't I?
