This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
If you're experiencing issues with translating the 'Advanced Tab' widget in Elementor using WPML, where the translation is not displayed.
Solution:
We recommend following these steps to ensure proper translation:
1. Add the following XML code to WPML > Settings > Custom XML Configuration:
<widget name="raven-tabs"> <fields-in-item items_of="tabs"> <field type="Tab title" editor_type="LINE">tab_title</field> <field type="Tab content" editor_type="LINE">tab_content</field> <field type="Tab template ID" editor_type="LINE">tab_custom_template</field> </fields-in-item> </widget>
2. After adding the code, edit the page where the widget is used, click on 'Update', and then update the translation.
3. Ensure to translate the template ID as well.
Note: Add the Advanced Tab widget to only one container. Adding it under a second container might cause the translation to not work properly.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
