This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client needs to translate an HTML code from a widget on their site and display it in the Advanced Translation Editor. They also need to change a parameter in the HTML to switch languages on the English version of the page.
Solution:
1) Unfortunately, the HTML 'lang' attribute cannot be translated directly in the Advanced Translation Editor. We recommend editing the translated page using Elementor to manually change the code.
2) To better assist you, please provide your Debug information. You can find a detailed explanation on how to do this here.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket here.

Background of the issue:
I want to translate an HTML code provided by a widget on my site hidden link. On the page hidden link, the widget is an HTML code from my Property Management Software, inserted via an HTML widget of Elementor. On the English page hidden link, I need to change a parameter in the HTML to change the language.

Symptoms:
I need to find a way to show the HTML block in the Advanced Translation Editor.

Questions:
How can I change a parameter in the HTML to change the language on the English page?
How can I show the HTML block in the Advanced Translation Editor?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

First of all, sorry for the late reply; it was due to a higher workload.

1) The HTML lang can't be translated in the translation editor. The workaround for this case is to edit the translated page using Elementor to change the code.

2) Could you please share your Debug information with me?
You can read a detailed explanation about it here. (http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support)
The debug info will give me much information about how your site is configured.

Best regards,
Osama

Ok perfect. I have disabled the Automatic Translation for this page, and it works fine.

Thank you!
