Background of the issue:
I am developing my website using Elementor and I am going to update my multilingual site.

Symptoms:
In Translations, it keeps showing 'Chinese (Simplified) translation assigned to local translator', and the links on the page are not translated to the correct Chinese page links, but still use the English page links.

Questions:
Why are the links on my multilingual site not translating to the correct Chinese page links?
How can I resolve the issue of translations being assigned to a local translator?
