This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reported two issues on their multilingual website. First, the Recent Comments widget was displaying English comments on a French page, when it should only show French comments. Second, there was a link to an English version of the page that was still in draft and therefore led to a 404 error.

Solution:
We recommended the following steps to address the issues:
1. Navigate to WPML > Languages.
2. Enable the "Auto user Sign in and out for all domains" option under "A different domain per language" and save the change.
3. Resave the permalink structure by going to Settings > Permalinks.
4. Log out from the site.
5. From the login page, switch to the secondary language and log back into the site.
6. From the Widget section, remove the Recent Comment widget and add it again.
7. Save the changes.

These steps resolved both issues for the client.

On this page hidden link

you can see two problems : on the widget for recent comments, only English comments are displayed, this is a French speaking page, only the French latest comments should appear

on the right, there is a link for the English version, though it's still draft, so as it is not published, it leads to a 404

Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I understand what you're looking for. Ideally, the Recent Comments widget should show comments made in the respective language only, without mixing in comments from other languages. Given that you're using a different domain for each language setup, could you please try the following steps to see if they resolve the issue?

- Please go to "WPML > Languages"
- Enable the "Auto user Sign in and out for all domains" option under "A different domain per language" and save the change.
- Please ensure to resave the permalink structure by going to Settings > Permalinks
- Once it is saved, log out from your site.
- From the login page, switch to the secondary language and log back into the site.
- From the Widget section, remove the Recent Comment widget and add it again.
- Save the changes.

Please let me know if these steps helped in solving the issue or if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hi Prosenjit,

the auto-login feature was already activated. I followed the two steps, and it solved both problems.

As I would like not to die "stupid" can you explain to me what the permalink structure has with all that ? (in particular displaying a link for a draft translation ?)

Thanks
