This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're unable to see the '+' icon for translating pages and products in WPML, it might be due to a conflict with the Admin Columns Pro plugin.
Solution:
We recommend deactivating the Admin Columns Pro plugin temporarily to see if the translation icons reappear. If this resolves the issue, you can then try adjusting the settings within the Admin Columns Pro plugin to customize columns per post type, which might allow the translation icons to display without needing to disable the plugin entirely. You can adjust these settings by navigating to Settings >> Admin Columns.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate pages and Products (custom post) using WPML, but I could not see the + icon which is used to translate. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link.

Symptoms:
The + icon, which is used to translate posts and pages, is not visible.

Questions:
Why is the + icon not visible for translating pages and products?
How can I make the + icon appear for translation?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. Sorry for the delay due to high workload and the reply time will be shorter from now.

1. Please make sure pages/products post type translation is enabled from WPML >> Settings > Post Types Translation section as you can see in the attached screenshot.

2. Sometimes Languages metabox move to the bottom of the page and you can move it back to the right sidebar by following the steps from this thread:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/language-box-disappeared-in-the-right-sidebar-of-page-edit/

3. If the issue persists, please provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP Login info) to your site (preferably staging site), so that I can look into your setup and debug the issue.

Your next answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

=== Please backup your database and website ===

✙ I would additionally need your permission to deactivate and reactivate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is essential.

Thank you

Thanks for the login details. I found that the issue with the missing “+” icon was caused by a conflict with the Admin Columns Pro plugin. When the plugin is deactivated, the icons appear as expected.

There might be some settings in the Admin Columns Pro plugin to customize columns per post type, adjusting those might help show the translation icons without disabling the plugin.

You may try to adjust the settings from Settings >> Admin Columns and see if this resolves the issue.

Please let me know the results,

Thank you for your cooperation
