[Closed] incompatibility between WPML Media and LiteSpeed

Hi! There's an incompatibility between the WPML Media and LiteSpeed plugins, which is slowing down the loading of my pages. When WPML Media is deactivated, the page loading speeds up. Is there a solution to this issue?

Hello let's try a few steps to understand the issue better:

Please make a backup before proceeding.

1) Install Query monitor plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/)

2) Check load time and number of queries in the top bar. Load time has "s" and queries "Q"

3) Disable all WPML plugins and check load time and the number of queries now

4) Disable all other plugins and leave active only WPML plugins, switch to WP default theme. Check again.

Please let me know how it goes and shares each result with me.

Hi Drazen,

Thanks for yr reply. Here are the results;

2) Check load time and number of queries in the top bar. Load time has "s" and queries "Q"; 3,72s 32,5 MB 0,40s 219Q

3) Disable all WPML plugins and check load time and the number of queries now; 0,66s 14,2 MB 0,19s 135Q

4) Disable all other plugins and leave active only WPML plugins, switch to WP default theme. Check again; 1.78s 22 MB 1.01s 92Q

great, thanks for taking the time to check.

Can you also try next, while using WP default theme and all other plugins disabled check next:

1) When WPML plugins and LiteSpeed are active.

2) When WPML plugins and LiteSpeed are active but WPML media addon is disabled.

Just so I can see the impact this adds to load time and the issue you are reporting.

Hello, here is the results, but for your information the loading times (like from 1.30s to 25s) are changing in each reloading the page, Im not sure if the numbers I give your are reliable, thank you.

1) When WPML plugins and LiteSpeed are active; 2.09s 24,4 MB 1.35s 100Q

2) When WPML plugins and LiteSpeed are active but WPML media addon is disabled; 1.84s 23,9 MB 1.01s 98Q

Hello,

thanks for getting back.

In the shared results I do not see any issue, loading times are almost the same.

Can you explain in more detail how you see the issue with LS and WPML Media addon, any specific reason you suspect this is the cause or how do you see it? Since in the all shared results, I do not see any major problem or issue impacting loading time.

You can also share the short video if that would make a case more understandable to me.
