We are submitting transaltions request to our provider but they are not receiving them They told us to reach out to you for support on this issue. we have been using them for almost a year.
we ran translations on wednesday without issue and now it is not working

This is Ahmed Ibrahim from the TP team, and I will help you with this issue.

I have checked your jobs in TP, for example, job "1613036" with the title "Your Facility’s UFI" from en -> es, and found that the jobs arrived to TransPerfect service without issue, here is the job ID for the mentioned job in the service side: "4YESyxwCtA22Oyglpr0qmN89voPzyeD/"
so please send this ID to Transperfect and let them help you locate the job in Transperfect system.

I reported you finding back to transperfect and they reported the following.

We are getting an error when receiving the submission
java.sql.SQLDataException: (conn:234836) Data too long for column 'CLIENT_VERSION' at row 1
It looks like the client_version is populated with a user name. It should be a number and no longer than 20 characters.
Can you confirm with WPML support what they are populating the client_version with?

Thank you for the update, this is related to a recent change that have been requested by TransPerfect, so I will contact them directly to handle this.

For now, I did a small workaround to let you be able to send it, so can you please send your jobs again and let me know if it works?

I updated and verified the credentials for our connection to TransPerfect and sent another translation request. They are still not showing up in our Global Link system there. Please advise.

Hi, and sorry for any inconvenience.

I guess you are talking about the batch "RC-COS-TEST|en", right?

I see it has been sent and the jobs have the external ID, so if you still don't see the jobs so I guess it is related to the error that was raised before.

I will contact TransPerfect to investigate this issue and will return to you soon with the updates.

We got the following form transperfect to ask of your team

"On checking the logs, we see the same error – the submission is again being made with an invalid value for CLIENT_VERSION.
The value that is being sent is “registrar-corp-ws-dev”. Which is itself odd since that is not the current user.
The value that is expected is a version number, less than 20 characters.
Can you confirm with WPML support where this value is coming from and to change it to a valid value?"

Please advise.

Hi,

Actually sending the username was a change that we made lately upon a request from TransPerfect.

I have just sent an email to their lead developer who was working with me on these changes but he is off and will be back next week.

So can you please send me the email of your support contact in TransPerfect, and I will investigate this with him to find a proper workaround for now till we agree on the changes that need to be made?
