Background of the issue:
I am trying to export files from my WordPress site, hidden link, to send to an XL provider and then import the translated files back. I am following the normal export/import process.

Symptoms:
The items do not appear in the translations section, although they are visible in Translation Management > Translations Jobs.

Hello,

I am not fully sure if I capture the issue, but let me explain the general workflow.

1) Create a job at WPML > Translation Management > Dashboard.
2) Access the job at WPML > Translations

This is the translation queue, where translators access jobs that are available for translation.

3) Download the XLIFF file

Now, while this job is in progress, it is very important that this job does not get completed in the meantime. Each job has its own ID and you need to upload the XLIFF file to this same job. Also, the name of the XLIFF file and its header should not be altered by the translation service.

4) Upload the XLIFF at WPML > Translations.

The job will be marked as completed and then removed from WPML > Translations.

At which point exactly are you experiencing an issue?

Best regards
Andreas

Thank you for looking into this. Here is where i get stuck.

4) When i go to WPML > Translations, it is completely blank. The jobs are no longer there. Its empty.

This usually would mean that someone completed the jobs or you are using a different user account that was created after those jobs were created.

Can you currently recreate this by creating new jobs and following the workflow above?

Workaround:
Create new jobs for the XLIFF that you need to import.

Before importing the XLIFF follow this documentation:
