This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client was unable to translate their landing page using WPML because of a compatibility error message stating that the theme currently in use was not compatible with the site editor.
Solution:
We first asked the client to clarify when and where they encountered the error and the steps they took before receiving it. We requested a screen recording or screenshots, along with the URL where the error occurred, to better understand the issue. Additionally, we asked for temporary access to the client's site, including wp-admin and FTP credentials, to investigate the problem further. We emphasized the importance of backing up the site before providing access and assured the client of our strict privacy and security policies, which can be reviewed at our privacy and security policy page.
If you're experiencing a similar issue, we recommend following these steps and providing us with the necessary information to assist you. However, please note that the solution might be outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket with us.
