I am trying to switch language with the header menu switcher on my site hidden link. I am following WPML documentation.
Symptoms:
When I try to switch language with the header menu switcher, I am redirected to the current language. The footer switcher works correctly.
Questions:
Why does the header menu switcher redirect to the current language instead of switching languages?
How can I fix the header menu switcher to work like the footer switcher?

Can you please test this on a staging environment using a default theme, such as TwentyTwenty-One? This way, we can exclude an error in your custom theme.
The footer switcher usually runs WPML unmodified, but theme files are loaded, too, when using the header switcher.
It was plugin conflict with plugin Simply Static, after disabling it everything started to work
