Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the German Home Page hidden link into English. Instead of getting the English Home page hidden link, it jumps to hidden link. The issue can be seen at hidden link.

Symptoms:
The language switcher redirects to an unexpected page: hidden link instead of the English Home page.

Questions:
Why does the language switcher redirect to the wrong page?
How can I fix the language switcher to point to the correct English Home page?
