This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client was experiencing issues with WooCommerce strings not being translated into Greek unless the 'Look for strings while pages are rendered' setting was active.
Solution:
1. We recommended the client to update the WPML plugins, especially those indicated in red in their WordPress admin plugin installation page.
2. We informed the client that WPML version 4.6.10, which addresses this issue, was released a few days ago and they should ensure they have the latest version installed.
If you're experiencing similar issues with WooCommerce string translations not appearing in your desired language, we recommend you first check for any available updates for WPML plugins by visiting your WordPress admin plugin installation page.
Also, confirm that you have the latest WPML version by checking the changelog at WPML Changelog.
Please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. If after following these steps the issue persists, we highly recommend checking related known issues at WPML Known Issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should you need further assistance, please open a new support ticket in the WPML support forum.
