Tell us what you are trying to do?
Manual translation
Is there any documentation that you are following?
not really
Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?
menygroup.com
the problem is that there are spans which are not on text but just on other html items and when I select these other html items and put the span on them in the translation -they disappear and I cannot save the translation and continue because of this.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support.

Can you please give the URL(s) to the pages on your site, where this text can be seen? So I can observe it in comparison with your screenshots.

Besides this, please also provide the debug information of your website for an overview of your setup. See https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/ for more information.

I've enabled the debug information section for your next reply.

Additionally you can also take a look at https://wpml.org/faq/checklist-before-opening-a-ticket-in-wpml-support/ and cross-check for a few initial fixes.

See https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/ for details on privacy and security.

Regards.
