This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is unable to translate pages directly on the page as before and now has to go through WPML/Translation queue.
Solution:
We recommend checking the current settings in WPML -> Settings to ensure that the translation mode is set to either "Translate everything automatically" for automatic translations as new content is created or updated, or "Translate what you choose" for on-demand manual or automatic translations. Additionally, it's important to verify the setup by providing debug information, which can be done following the instructions here: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/
For further troubleshooting, we suggest recording the screen while:
1. Navigating to WPML -> Settings to show the Translation Mode & Automatic translation sections.
2. Demonstrating the current method of attempting to translate.
3. Going to WPML -> Translation Management and sending content for automatic translation.
This will help us better understand and assist with the issue.
If this solution does not resolve the issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. We highly recommend opening a new support ticket for further assistance at WPML support forum.
