[Closed] Media Translation confusing

Background of the issue:
I am trying to ensure that the image associated with each post remains the same across all languages on my site hidden link. I want to avoid having duplicated images in the media folder.

Symptoms:
I find the 'Media Translation' options confusing and am unsure which checkboxes to select to achieve my goal.

Questions:
What checkbox should be selected in the 'Media Translation' options to keep the same image for all languages?
Can you please inform what every checkbox in the 'Media Translation' options does?
And what is the difference between Media-Duplicate and Article-Duplicate?
