Background of the issue:
I have a multi domain setup and I am trying to ensure that media URLs are correctly formatted. I am following the documentation at https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/media-translation/?utm_source=plugin&utm_medium=gui&utm_campaign=wpmlcore.

Symptoms:
The media output URL is incorrect, showing a double site domain: hidden link instead of hidden link.

Questions:
How can I fix the media URL to remove the double site domain?

Hello,

thanks for contacting us.

I suspect this could be caused by some custom code or redirect rule.

1) Can you please check if the issue happens when only WPML plugins activated, all other plugins disabled?

2) Please change your theme to the WP default theme and check if the issue happens.

Please make a backup before proceeding.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Drazen
