New Gravity Form field (Multi-Select), choices not translatable

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are using a Multi-Select field in Gravity Forms with WPML and find that the field choice labels cannot be translated and do not appear in the WPML string translation table.
Solution:
We are currently aware of this issue and are actively working on a permanent solution. In the meantime, we recommend following the workaround provided in the errata page. You can find the necessary steps and details here: Gravity Forms Image Choice Field is not translated.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Jochen	Background of the issue: I am trying to use a Multi-Select field in Gravity Forms with WPML. The field label and description can be translated out of the box with WPML, but the field choice labels cannot. They do not appear in the WPML string translation table. Gravity Forms support mentioned that WPML uses a form object filter like gform_pre_render to filter field properties, including choices, and that WPML needs to update their integration to support the new field type. I was advised to contact WPML/OnTheGoSystems for support with this issue. More details can be found in the support ticket: hidden link, Ticket Number: 634196. Symptoms: The field choice labels in a Multi-Select field are not translatable and do not appear in the WPML string translation table. Questions: Why are the field choice labels not appearing in the WPML string translation table? How can I make the field choice labels translatable with WPML?
