Hi,

I’ve activated the WP Rentals theme and the required plugins on your sandbox, and everything is working correctly - including listing translations via both the WPML Translation Editor and the WordPress Editor.

In that case, what could be causing the issue on our staging? Could it be some specific WPML settings?

Hi,

Thank you for your update. It looks like we can rule out any general compatibility issues.

The next step would be to review your WPML configuration, specifically the “Languages” and “Settings” sections—and compare them with a working setup. Additionally, please check whether anything on the server side might be influencing this behavior, such as third-party plugins, mu-plugins, caching mechanisms, or server settings.

Best regards,
Marcel

Hi,

I've compared the server settings, PHP versions, and the options in the 'Languages' and 'Settings' sections. I found a few differences, but changing them didn't resolve the issue.

However, I noticed that everything works perfectly when using the 'Legacy Classic Translation Editor' (see screenshot attached). As soon as I switch back to the Advanced Translation Editor (with automatic translations), the problem returns.

Could this help in identifying the root cause of the issue?"

Hi,

It’s possible that something in the XLIFF translation file sent by the plugin is causing the issue. I’ll look into this and keep you updated.

Best regards,
Marcel

Hello there,

Marcel is off for the next few weeks, so I'll be handling this ticket - I've thoroughly read through it, so I'm top of what's happening.

The back end of the staging website is no longer accessible. Can you please share admin access with us again? The private fields are enabled.

Hi Lucas. Thanks for the info. Today we started migrating stg to prd and we need stable versions, so we've disabled your access. I'll let you know next week if we need any help.

Cheers,

Hi Lucas,

The migration is complete now, so your backend access should now be restored. We would be very grateful for your assistance..
