This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to translate new Divi pages fully; only the title appears in the WPML Advanced Translation Editor.
Solution:
First, we recommend completing the translation of the page and then making a small change to the page content in the original language (English). After saving these changes, update the translation to see if the full content appears in the translation editor. If this does not resolve the issue, it might be related to the use of a child theme. Try switching to the main Divi theme, make a small change to the page title or content, save it, and then update the translation page. This should make the page content available in the Advanced Translation Editor.

If these steps do not solve the problem, we suggest checking for any known issues related to this on WPML known issues page, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and ensuring that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket with us for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I create a new page in Divi but when I go to translate it only the title appears on the translation editor. Never seen this before.

Symptoms:
No longer able to translate Divi pages.

Questions:
Why is only the title appearing on the translation editor when I try to translate a new Divi page?
How can I fix the issue of not being able to translate Divi pages as before?

Thank you for contacting WPML support, I’m happy to help you with this issue.

I suggest you complete the translation then edit the page in the original language English > Make a small change to the page content > Save > Update the translation and see if it helps.

If it does not help, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated. Your next reply is set to private to share the info.

✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme to change configurations on the site if needed. This is also a reason the backup is critical.

I restored a two-week-old backup on the production site and translation is working fine there now. Can't think what might have happened during the last two weeks though.

Hi,

It could be related to your child theme (according to the debug info). After I switch to the main theme Divi > Make a small change to the page title/content > Save > Update the translation page, the page content is available in the Advanced Translation Editor as well. Can you please confirm it works on your end?
