Hey man, any updates? So far we have wpml on our website since january. since then we have encountered issues, most of them got resolved so far - which shows you are very eager with your support efforts.

but this one is hopefully the last one, before we can use the page (we have lost a lot of time already) and i need to give the client an update, when we can expect a solution, so that all fields are finally translated without errors within wordpress.

what can i tell him and what can you give me at this point?

we have already spend a lot of money on license and translation, i can not afford to just drop wpml at this point.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. We are sorry for the inconvenience. We are still working on the bugs you have reported (we have split it into three tickets) and are expecting feedback by tomorrow. Please wait.

One request. As we requested before, it will be great if you can list the issues you are facing with WPML one by one (to make sure, we haven't missed to address it) - https://wpml.org/forums/topic/not-everything-got-translated/#post-16752348

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. We hope you have published translations of all the posts and pages now on the live site - hidden link

Because it was in *Pending for review* mode. So if not, please publish all the translated posts/pages and make sure it is working as expected for you. Refer to this documentation for more details - https://wpml.org/documentation/reviewers/how-to-work-as-a-reviewer/#how-to-review-translations

I can not use them until I received the fix for the bugs that crash parts of my site.

Yes it’s in review but published and live anyway.

To have this solved:

I need the footer working AND everything translated. The footer and header didn’t get translated in full.

Please it took so much time already, we urgently need it to be live and working.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. We were waiting for your feedback on this.

https://wpml.org/forums/topic/not-everything-got-translated/page/2/#post-16830963

We need to ensure that the templates, especially the footer and header, are fully translated on the live site because they are currently in 'Pending for Review' mode on the staging site. Please check the attached images.

To speed up the debugging process, we have a couple of requests:

1) Please make sure you are using the latest version of the theme and plugins on the live site. If not, upgrade to the latest version after taking a full site backup (mandatory).

2) The auto-login URL has expired. Could you share access to the live site again? I’m enabling the private option for the next reply. Enabling the private option for the next reply.

As of now, the pending issue is that the footer and header are not fully translated yet. Am I correct? Please confirm.

i did provide such a link in the footer topic. please only make updates on the staging until the bug is fixed or can i update wpml to see if some bugs are solved?

once youve copied the live site, i will use another version of the footer, thats simpler and doesnt require the translation of strings or meta box fields, so that we can at least finally USE wpml. if thats not working, we need to cancel and refund it, its two months since we have bought it and its not usable right now :(( the customer is mocking me for this.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. We will do our best to resolve the issues you are facing with WPML, but we need your help to sort them out.

During debugging, the biggest challenge we encountered was that the staging site produced unexpected results and multiple fatal errors. Many of these errors, like the one below, occurred even without WPML:

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method Elementor\Core\DocumentTypes\Post::print_content() in /****/plugins/elementor-pro/modules/loop-builder/skins/skin-loop-base.php:220
Stack trace:

Therefore, we kindly request you to thoroughly review your live site after upgrading to the latest version of plugins and themes (please take a mandatory full site backup before upgrade) and let us know about any WPML-related issues other than header and footer translations. This will help us speed up troubleshooting and resolve the issues as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
