Hello There, I understand the issue you're having and will try my best to assist you in this matter. Please note that links should automatically update on the translated page based on whether the corresponding post/page has been translated. However, it appears that the link added to the Button is dynamic, which might be the reason it isn't displaying correctly in the ATE. Upon reviewing the "catalog-en" page, it appears that neither the archive page itself nor the items within that archive are translated. Will you please complete the translation of Categories and their products and check again? If you have created a different archive template for the categories, make sure to translate that template as well. Since you're using the Impreza theme, please check this documentation on translating the Impreza theme using WPML: https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/build-multilingual-websites-using-the-impreza-theme-and-wpml/ Please let me know how it goes. I will be happy top help if you need further assistance in this matter. Best regards, |

I'm confused at how this is addressing the original question: number signs in advanced translator links. hidden link is an external link. That I'm trying to link to from the buttons. There are 2 more versions of it - but those are all external to wordpress. hidden link |

Hello There, The external links are showing in that way because they are URL-Encoded. Since the Impreza theme uses the WPBakery Page Builder, the process of URL encoding and decoding takes place within the Page Builder. Our compatibility team has investigated the matter and has published a detailed errata with a workaround, which you can see here: https://wpml.org/errata/impreza-theme-encoded-urls-appearing-in-wpmls-advanced-translation-editor-ate/ In addition, we've received confirmation from the Impreza theme team that they have incorporated a fix for this issue in their Impreza 8.18.5 release. To address the URL encoding challenge efficiently, I request you to update your Impreza Parent theme to this version, or the latest available. Make sure to take a backup prior to updating the plugin. Once the Theme is updated, make a small modification on the original page, then try to translate again. I hope the link will appear correctly in the editor so that you can add the translation. Let me know how it goes. I will be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter. Best regards, |

Hello There, As the issue persists, a closer inspection will be required to understand the root cause of the issue. I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated. You will find the needed fields below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it. Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you. IMPORTANT Looking forward to your response. Best Regards, |

Hello There, Upon reviewing your site, I noticed that the Impreza theme is up to date. However, while checking the XML configuration in "WPML > Settings," I found that the URL encoding was set to use the 'json,base64' method, which is not correct. With the recent update, a new encoding method for URLs has been implemented named 'us_link'. After switching the encoding method to 'us_link' and updating the translation, the link now displays in the correct format within the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE). For a clearer view, please refer to this screenshot: hidden link. Please try to update the translation and the link will appear properly in the editor. Let me know if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help. Best regards, |
