Object cache pro / WPML breaking admin menus

Earle Davies	Background of the issue: I am trying to use Object Cache Pro with WPML, but there seems to be an incompatibility that breaks the admin menus. I set up a site with object caching enabled and the Object Cache Pro plugin, created multiple languages, and used the WPML Menu Sync feature to sync menus. Clearing the object cache temporarily restores the menus. Several others have reported this issue on the forums: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/wpml-menus-conflicting-with-object-cache-pro/, https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translating-the-menus-is-not-working/page/2/, https://wpml.org/forums/topic/menu-is-displayed-only-in-one-language/. Symptoms: The dropdown for 'Menu:' displays the same menu duplicated multiple times instead of allowing me to edit the translated version. Clearing the object cache temporarily fixes the issue, but it reverts back to the broken state. Questions: How can I resolve the incompatibility between Object Cache Pro and WPML? Is there a permanent solution to prevent the admin menus from breaking?

While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let's try the workaround provided below. We have an errata here https://wpml.org/errata/object-cache-pro-various-issues/ could you try using the "plugin" as explained here https://wpml.org/forums/topic/object-cache-pro-causing-wpml-issues/page/3/#post-16529233 to see if it helps?

Earle Davies	I checked the errata but none of those apply to the problem that myself and the other forum posts I sent. I added the code from the workaround and will monitor to see if the issue comes back.
