These JS errors are non blocking, as you can see in my test site, even presence of these does not affect the process. I understand that it may not be possible to create a fresh staging site out of the live site, however, is it possible for you to find a very low to no traffic time on your live site, put it into maintenance for that time and check with only WPML plugins and a default WP theme (while other plugins are not active)? So you can see if issue is really coming from WPML or something else is creating a conflict. And if in this case it works fine, then you can continue activating other plugins one by one while keep checking for the issue and lastly can switch to your current theme (parent first and then to the child theme). This way you'll be able to pinpoint a plugin or theme causing the said problem. And we can then try in those directions.
