Background of the issue:
I am trying to ensure that each month's Pay as you go points are automatically reset to 0 and recalculated. This month, the points did not reset as expected.

Symptoms:
The points for November have been used up 44038, and today is December. Generally speaking, the points should reset to zero, but they seem to be adding up instead.

Questions:
Why did the Pay as you go points not reset to zero this month?
How can I ensure that the points reset automatically each month?
