Thanks for you patience. I am now back and checked (with a brwoser that hasn't used the site yet - so no caching issues) and unfortunately it remains the same (see screenshow).. only the regualr fields are in italian the other remain in english.
What is even weirder is that now the Street address displays in english also but with "-it" at the end?!

I'm unsure why the files depicted in the attached screenshot keep reappearing after I delete them from the wp-content/languages/plugins folder. Once these language files are deleted, the translations function correctly, as shown in the attached screenshot. Could you have restored these files, or might there be third-party plugins recreating them, causing issues with WPML string translation?

Regarding the titles displaying "-it," I personally translated them using String Translation. I'm uncertain what Italian text you'd prefer, so I added "-it" as a placeholder. You can view and modify these translations here: hidden link
