Problem:
The client was attempting to export all strings and translate them using PO Edit, then upload them back again. However, after translating all strings and uploading them back, the strings from Gravity Forms were not updated, particularly those with "-placeholder" in their names.
Solution:
We recommended the following steps to ensure the PO file imports correctly:
1. Enable the option 'Also create translations according to the .po file' and select the importing language.
2. Select the domain of strings for what the strings are for.
If the provided solution does not apply or is outdated, or if the issue persists, we highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
