Dear Support,

I need your help in solving the following problem:
We are now successfully updating product prices via an excel import in Roubles. We also need to update prices in the secondary currency (Euro) via excel file. Can you tell me how to do this?

We are using WPML and its multicurrency settings (Screenshot attached)
Also for each product you have the possibility to set the price in Euro manually (Screenshot attached). But there are a lot of products and this process needs to be automated.

my site is hidden link
I use a plugin WP All Import to import currencies from an excel file
WP All Import support said that The WPML Import Add-On is developed and maintained by the WPML team directly

Hello

I understand that you are attempting to use the WPML ALL Import plugin to update manual pricing in other currencies.

Is this a correct restatement of your issue?

If so, what is the exact question that you have?

My understanding of the import process is that you should map the required fields from the csv file to the correct wordpress product field and run the import. What our add-on will do is allow you to import additional languages and LINK the import to a previous product import so that the imported products are linked as translations of each other.

So, if you are just updating products in the primary language, I am not sure what our addon would be used for.

Pricing information is only updated on the source language of a product and the WCML plugin has the "job" of syncing the pricing info across linked translations.

The manual pricing is held in custom fields on the post-meta table for the product just like any other custom field.

I am not so familiar with WP All Import, but is there not a way to map custom fields to the import file? Perhaps approach the WPALL Import support about this?

I include a screenshot of an example product with manual pricing in 2nd currencies and how it looks like in the post-meta table of the database for reference.

As long as you can update these custom fields and then subsequently update the product so that it triggers our own hooks/filters, then the pricing info will be copied to all translations.
