I have decided on two plug-ins to provide a gallery solution based on media folders by using Justified Image Gallery (JIG) for the galleries and Real Media Library (RML) for organizing my media folders. Then JIG can be pointed to a Real Media Library (RML) folder for a type of dynamic population of the webpage when new media is uploaded and moved to a folder. This was working great for image gallery to image lightbox, image gallery to youtube links, and even PDF documents.
However, we are a multilingual non-profit education website (or wishing to be) and when I installed the paid WPML license, I was able to create the language selector, being manually translating strings of text, but all of my Justified Image Galleries are broken in other languages. I saw a similar post when I searched from two-weeks ago, post #14192059
and responded to by Kor. However, before the issue could be looked into, the end user moved to NextGEN gallery which apparently alleviated their issue. I however don't want to add yet another plug-in when I'm using two plug-ins that are recommended by WPML: Real Media Library and Justified Image Gallery. I'm hoping they play nice with WPML.
Maybe I'm simply missing a step. The website is at hidden link. Disregard [doc_library] shortcode if showing, was just trying to uninstall all plug-ins other than these main three. Still same result.
Before we start let me just say that I do not see Real Media Library plugin on our official plugins list, so some issues may happen. We will try our best, but might need plugin author collaboration.
