Background of the issue:
I am encountering an issue with the pages created during the translation process using WPML. When we translate pages before they are published, they receive a temporary page ID (e.g., /page_id=24936). These pages are never published, yet they still appear under redirects in Google Search Console. Once we publish the pages, they receive the correct URL (e.g., /facebook-server-side-tracking).

Symptoms:
Temporary page IDs appear in Google Search Console under redirects even though they are not intended to show.

Questions:
Could you explain how temporary page IDs can appear in Google Search Console under redirects?
What can we do to resolve the situation of temporary page IDs appearing in Google Search Console?

Hello,

Thanks for contacting us.

While you wait for my colleague to take over the ticket, let me try to help you with the issue quickly.

I think this is not something related to WPML, as I can also see some pages in the default language being indexed in the image you shared. I would suggest checking SEO plugins you are using and sitemap if it has those pages included there.

Other than that you can check if those pages are still accessible without WPML plugins to confirm if related to WPML or not. Note there is also related WordPress bug that may affect you:
