Background of the issue:
I am trying to share automatic translation credits between my development and live website. Initially, I installed WPML on the development site and had automatic credits available there. After going live, I transitioned the credits to the live site and performed automatic translations. Now, I need to share these credits with the development site after syncing it with the live site. I attempted to use the migration code from the live site to the dev site, but encountered issues.
Symptoms:
The wizard incorrectly identifies the URL as changed even though both URLs are identical. Choosing 'both are in use' did not work, and the dev site is not receiving automatic translation credits.
Questions:
What is needed to share automatic translation credits between the development and live site?
How can I ensure the dev site receives automatic translation credits?
Thanks so much for responding. I'm not sure why, but I can now use auto translate (and therefore credits) for dev and live. I'm not sure if something freed up over the weekend, but we seem to be good to go now. Going forward, is the following link still considered the documentation for sharing translate credits between variations of the same site?
