Background of the issue:
I am trying to display different images on the product page in the long description section using the Woodmart theme with WP Bakery builder. I have installed the Media Translation add-on and added the English version of the image. The issue can be seen here: hidden link

Symptoms:
It only works if I use the default WP Bakery image element. However, when I use the Woodmart image element, it does not work.

Questions:
Why does the Woodmart image element not display different images for different languages?
Is there a compatibility issue between the Woodmart theme and the Media Translation add-on?

Hello,

This might be related to how the Page Builder handles the meta information.

It might be that the Woodmart Widget sends the image's source URL to the WPML Translation Editor and in this case, you would need to manually translate the source URL when translating the page or when reviewing the automatic translation.

Could you please give this a test?

Best regards
Andreas

Can you explain how I can translate the source URL if the image is included in the product description?

Hello,

when translating the template for product description, inside WPML Advanced Translation Editor from the top search bar try searching for the image URL.

Otherwise, can you try the next workaround code and then update the default template and re-translate it? I think this might be a known issue we already have reported.

Let me know how it goes and if you need any help.
