Background of the issue:
I am working on a site under development with 130 subsites, 85 of which have WPML active. They are all connected and share the same translation memory.

Symptoms:
Our website is significantly slower when the WPML plugin is active, especially in the admin area.

Questions:
Could the shared translation memory across 130 subsites be the cause of the speed issue?
