This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client needed to translate the links to social media icons and email addresses for different language versions of their website using the Theme Salient, but could not find the option to do so in WPML > String Translation.

Solution:
We recommended the following steps:
1. Go to WPML → String Translation.
2. Enable the option "Look for strings while pages are rendered".
3. Visit the page where the untranslated strings are displayed.
4. Return to WPML → String Translation and check if the link has been registered.
5. Translate the link.

For more detailed instructions, we provided a link to the documentation: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/

If this solution does not apply because it is outdated or not relevant to your case, we suggest opening a new support ticket. Hello there,

on my website on the top of the page, there are the social media icons, i do however have different social medias pages for each language. I am currently using the Theme Salient and when i search for this option on WPML > String Translation under salient there isn't any option to translate the links to the social buttons.

to clarify, every language version of my website (english, portuguese and spanish) should have their unique social media links to the buttons and also the email address.

how can i make these changes?

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

Have you attempted to locate the links in this manner?

1. Go to WPML → String Translation.
2. Enable the option "Look for strings while pages are rendered".
3. Navigate to the page where untranslated strings are displayed.
4. Return to WPML >> String Translation and verify if the given link has been registered.
5. Translate the link.

I have added the links to the other Instagram pages but it doesnt seem to work. I am not sure if I should be seeing something different.
