This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing issues with paragraphs not being accepted by the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) due to HTML formatting, such as bold or underlined text, and sometimes even needing to manually adjust the translation or change the default page.
Solution:
We recommend ensuring that HTML tags in the original text are correctly replicated in the translated version. For instance, if your original sentence includes a break tag (

<br />

) nested within a span tag, you should maintain the same structure in the translation. Please refer to this screen record for a detailed guide on how to do this: screen record.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If problems persist, please open a new support ticket for further assistance.

Other comment = sometimes paragraph with bold accent, underlined, etc, are not accepted by the ATE. Often it can be solved, by hand with the ATE. In other "Cases", see screenshot [only solution is to change the US Default Page].

Example below of a simple one = French Translation of Info "Page" = Finca van Maare.

See the paragraph in the screenshot - this one probably can be resolved manually [but I had to translate more complicated "paragraps" with markers [and the ATE simply did not accept]

= solution = save to momeny [complete ATE not possible] - go back = wait a whille and try again, to complete translation = if not change marked paragraph of US default page

Hi,

Here is the new ticket. In ATE, the tags in the original sentence must be kept the same in the translation sentence. In your screenshot, the break tag should be nested in the span tag to save the sentence. Please check the attached screenshot and this screen record

I hope that makes sense.

Dear Mr Long it makes sense. I do not have the examples anymore, when for example word in "bold" are split in translation.

Then is gets complicated:

Like for example

I sent you a message which is [bold] quite important [bold], for the translation of sentences.

Imagine [seen that a lot]. If a translation splits the old part of translation, like [what I write here is not a translation, just what I experienced, text itself does not make sense

Example polish [nonsense of course]

I sent you [bold] quite an [bold] important message, the ATE gets stucked here, of course than can be solved, but only accenting on the 2 words [and only if that sequences of formatting is 100% the same as the original.

If I found examples I will sent those.

Regards,
TT
