The website we have problems with has a lot of content, for example there are over 800 product attributes, so it is a big issue when deploying.

Sometimes we cannot even edit the translations, and when that happens I have to delete the PHP langugae file from the server and translate the attribute label again.

The files wouldn't be a problem if they worked properly, but clearly they don't, and interfering with content and having to delete files directly from the server because of content issues is not something any developer would be happy with, nor is our client.

We have to launch soon and I already see that it's going to be a daily issue with the client because the files aren't generated properly and it blocks the translations from being added / edited. Can you at least look into files being generated properly without the need to delete them for them to regenerate?

Hello,

let's continue here on this topic.

Before we check, can you please try next:

- Make sure you have a backup.
- Disable all other plugins and leave active only WPML plugins and Wocommerce
- Switch to WP default theme
- Check if the issue still happens and if you still can not edit the translations.

Hey,

I deactivated all plugins except WooCommerce, WPML, WPML String Translation and WPML Media Translation. At first I didn't deactivate WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency because that's also your plugin I believe. When I deactivated WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency, I was able to enter and edit taxonomy labels translations.

yes, correct, that is alsoa plugin that is needed.

Okay, let me have a look. Please share admin access, FTP, and steps to reproduce the issue.

Please make sure to create a backup, before doing any actions, just in case.

thanks. I tried to log in to admin, but I get an error that the password is not correct.

"Greška:Lozinka koju ste unijeli za korisničko ime wpml_support je neispravna. Izgubili ste lozinku? 3 login attempts remaining"

1) Please disable also Kinsta must use plugins/object cache.

2) If possible, provide my user full access so I can install plugins to check debug log, and if it is okay to take a copy of your website and debug further on localhost?

We cannot disable Kinsta's must-use plugin, but the cache is not enabled on this staging site.

There's a plugin called WP Migrate which you can use to download a copy of the site. Your user has admin access, but nobody is allowed to add plugins from the WordPress dashboard. I can add a specific plugin for you temporarily if you need it.

Hello,

1) I see from plugin settings that I can clear the object cache, and sometimes these kinds of weird issues can be caused by the Object cache. Make sure it is disabled for the staging site.

2) I tried with WP Migrate, but it fails to import in LocalWP. Please let's try with the Duplicator plugin, and I will take a copy and check further.

thanks for getting back.

I tried, but I keep getting "Host Build Interrupt". Is there maybe anything you can do from your side to check on this? Maybe server error log andan increase of timeout would help?

If not, I will try again with WP Migrate, or just with DB dump.

I need to check and confirm the issue on localhost before escalating it further.

Can you instruct me on how to share the WeTransfer link to you privately? If I choose a private reply, it requires me to upload a file and the file is over 30MB so it's too big.
