This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client needed to change the names of languages in their WPML settings.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend navigating to WPML > Languages > Edit Languages. Here, you can change the language names to your desired ones and then save the changes.

Please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Hi there.

You should be able to go to WPML > Languages > Edit Languages > change the language names to the ones that you mentioned > and then save.
