After the initial review of a translated page we don't see all those pages in the "translations" tab in the WPML plugin. Seems to be a bit random how many or which of the pages it lists. This makes it a bit more difficult if we want to access the ATE again later.
Yes, that is correct, but to keep a better workflow when going through a lot of pages it would be great if those pages where kept in the same place. Going to the jobs tab could be a good alternative, but we can't edit translations or do any actions there.
The WPML => Translations page is meant to be used as a translation queue area.
Typically you will also find that it is different per user based on their translations if you have more than 1 translator in your team.
Also when a job is taken and finished you might no longer see it there, as it's not quite meant to be used as a long-term dashboard, that is why we recommend using WPML -> Translation management dashboard for this purpose.
