Hi,

before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, please allow me to walk you through some initial debugging steps. This will help speed up the support process.

Could you please provide more details? Are you searching for strings from a specific plugin?

Best Regards
Marcel

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support. I'm assigned this ticket and 'll try my best to help you on the matter.

Can you try the methods mentioned in this guide? And see if this helps.

I'll also share the following tips when searching for a string in ST:

- For longer texts like "© Dizajn urbane hortikulture 2023. By Noldastudio", try to use one word from the text which brings all the strings having that work. Sometimes longer texts may have not been formed in the original source, as they usually appear in the frontend.

- For texts in other languages (than English), try to turn on the "Include translations" check box, when searching for a string. A theme or plugin may have written that string in their native language without any language definition. In this case, the string may have been registered in a language other than the intended one (i.e. other than default language or in English). Including translations in search improves your chances of finding the desired string.

In the later case, if string is found and you see it has a wrong language, you can change the language of the string and translate accordingly.

Regards.

Thank you for the updates and for trying all those methods.

To check that where are those strings coming from, you can try the following steps:

- First switch to another theme like WordPress default theme 2021 or 2024. And see if those strings disappear? If yes, then these are coming from your theme, otherwise, try the next step.
- Deactivate each plugin one by one, while keep checking in the frontend (where these strings appear) that when they disappear.

This way you can find where are these strings coming from. If they're coming from your theme, then probably you should check with your theme support, because Balkon theme isn't WPML compatible.

However, if you want me to take a closer look at your site, you can provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP), preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your next answer will be private, to share this information safely.

Also provide links to pages in the admin and on the frontend where these strings are appearing.

IMPORTANT: Please take a complete backup of the site to avoid data loss. I may need to activate/deactivate plugins also.

See https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/ for details on privacy and security.

P.S.: If you don't see the section for providing access information, do not write in the message box or the information may appear as public.

P.S.: I'll be off over the weekend and 'll be able to attend on Monday.
