Background of the issue:
I am experiencing an issue with WPML where translating custom HTML Gutenberg blocks results in unwanted tags being inserted into the code. This problem does not occur in the original language content but only appears after translation, causing layout issues and breaking the intended structure of my HTML elements. I still want to translate the custom HTML, as it contains dropdown field options, etc.

Example of the issue: Original HTML Code: Bitte wählen Sie das Land des Firmensitzes: Andorra (AD) Vereinigte Arabische Emirate (AE) Afghanistan (AF)...

Translated Code: Please select the country of the company headquarters: Andorra (AD)United Arab Emirates (AE)

Hello,

so here is the ticket, please try the next steps after the backup.

- Disable all other plugins except for WPML plugins, and switch to the WP default theme.
- Make a small change to the default language page and save, try to re-translate, and check if the issue still happens.

Use an advanced translation editor and make sure you are using the default Gutenberg HTML block.

Let me know how it goes and if the issue still happens in such an environment.

Regards,
Drazen
