[Resolved] The search bar in other languages is misconfigured
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is experiencing issues with the WpResidence theme where the search bar is misconfigured in languages other than the default. Solution: We recommend creating a new search bar template on the client's site and then duplicating it for the secondary language. This approach worked on our test site, where both search forms displayed the slider correctly in each language. Here are the steps to follow: 1. Create a new search bar template in the default language. 2. Duplicate this template for the secondary language. 3. Check if the search bar functions correctly in both languages. If this solution does not resolve the issue, we encourage the client to open a new support ticket with us for further assistance.

Please use the link below to login to a test site that i have set up for troubleshooting. Install a copy of your theme there and then I will test to see if we are able to reproduce the problem on a fresh install.

Let me know once this is done and I'll continue on the test site. Thanks!
I've just installed the theme and the needed plugins. I hope you find a solution because I've already checked the theme tutorials and everything is correctly adjusted to work well with WPML.
I don't see the search options or a search on the homepage. Options look limited, I suppose because the theme requires a license. Are you able to insert your license here? If not, I can try to reach out to the compatibilty team and we can try to get a license from the author.
Sure, I will ask our team to reach out. Please keep in mind that this make take some time to get a response and access to a license. I will update here once I have access to one.
Thank you, I was able to locate a license and activate the theme. When I try adding the search form, I don't see options for price fields for the slider. Can you please log in ot the test site and perhaps help me get the form set up as it is on your site so I can further test? I appreciate the assistance. You can login with this link: hidden link
Hey Lauren, I've got to install the demo site but I don't know why I could not activate the names on the search bar. I received an error message during the installation related to svg images. Maybe it's related. In this case you should install a plugin named SVG Support.
I"m not sure what you mean by activating the names on the search bar, and I'm not seeing any error. Can you be more specific and outline the steps you are taking when you see the error?
I created a property and now am able to enter min/max price for the price fields. I also added the search bar to the homepage and translated the homepage, as well as translated the properties. I don't see the price slider on the search bar. Please add them to the slider however you did it on your live site and let me know once that is done in the main language, and what you changed to display it, and I'll be happy to further troubleshoot.
I made some changes on the WpResidence options > search > advanced search form, but the changes were not saved. So, I don't know how I could help to fix it.
I have temporarily disabled WPML on the test site, but still am not seeing the price slider fields on the homepage search form. At this point, without being able to test the form with the slider, I'm not sure how I can further troubleshoot this issue. Once you get the search form showing the slider fields, and can update the search form on the test site, let me know and I will be happy to further troubleshoot. You are welcome to use this test site to the theme/plugin author, perhaps they can assist you with why the search form is not saving. The search form not saving is not related to WPML.
Thanks for getting the search with slider set up on the test site. I was able to duplicate the Elementor templates and you can see both search forms in either language show the slider as expected. hidden link hidden link
Would it be possible to try to create a new search from template for your site and then duplicate it to the secondary language? I can't see why anything on your site would be different than the test site, so perpahs there is something corrupted in the template you are currently using?
