Background of the issue:
I was trying to import my XLIFF file into WPML.

Symptoms:
I encountered an error stating, "The uploaded XLIFF file does not appear to be properly formed. Missing or incorrect data: target."

Questions:
Why is the XLIFF file not properly formed?
How can I fix the missing or incorrect data in the XLIFF file?

Hi there,

If possible please increase your WP Memory Limit to 256M or higher, we have seen this cause some issues in the past when it's too low.

Also, if possible please share with us the XLIFF file you are uploading for our team to review.

You can use a file sharing service such as google drive, dropbox, wetranfer, etc.
