We are having an issue where a trailing slash on the end of a URL turns into a double slash after the 'en-gb' section of our URL. Not sure why this is happening or how to stop it.

I am trying to: Stop this URL changing into one with a double slash when a trailing slash is added to the end of it:
hidden link

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link (when put into the search bar it turns into a double slash after en-gb)

I expected to see: hidden link

Instead, I got: hidden link

Hello,

1) In order to expedite handling your support requests, can you please share WPML support debug information from your site.

More information on the link: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

2) Also, as I can see from the website files, you are using a custom theme please check if the issue still happens when using the WP default theme, and only WPML plugins are active, all others are disabled.

Please make a backup before proceeding.

Thanks,
Drazen
