Hello, Thank you for contacting our support service. I took a look at your website and confirmed the issue, it would need a detailed investigation, for that, please consider: To best troubleshoot the issue, please make a snapshot of your site using the Duplicator plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/. This will allow me to try and duplicate the error so that I can run further tests without interrupting your live site. Once the snapshot is complete, either upload the snapshot ZIP file and the installer.php file to a file sharing service such as Dropbox (and share the link in your reply) or right click the Duplicator links in your wp-admin and paste in your reply. Thank you for your collaboration. Have a nice day. |

Hello, Thank you for the provided details. I took a look at the provided staging website and proceeded with a detailed troubleshooting and investigation, the issue persists which makes me to believe it could be related to a possible compatibility issue, in these cases, these are the procedures:
I created a test website with a clean WordPress install. You can access it through this link: Please upload the (theme/plugin) to this test install, setup it the same way as in your website (using the same options) and create some dummy content to reproduce the issue. Please note that we only need the (theme/plugin) and the related functionality, you don't need to setup a entire website or clone your existing site. The fewer plugins the better. After that, please send us clear steps on how to see/reproduce the issue on this test install. We will run some tests. Please, let me know when you are ready, thank you for your collaboration, have a nice day. |

Hello, Thank you for the updates and sorry for the waiting here. I was able to fix the issue with these steps: 1 - I deleted all the categories terms in all the languages. 2 - I re-added the categories terms in the default language. 3 - I translated the categories terms and adjusted the categories hierarchy synchronization from WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Taxonomy Translations settings. 4 - Then, I reassigned the proper categories for the problematic post in the default language. 5 - I deleted the english post and re-added it again. 6 - Then, from WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Support I clicked the 'Troubleshooting' link and then, clicked the 'Synchronize posts taxonomies' for the 'Posts' post type. You can see the results at: Portuguese: hidden link English: hidden link Note: I recommend you to manually edit the post in the secondary languages using the standard WordPress post/page editor and make sure the translated posts ideed have the exact same category structure of the default language post. Please, let me know if it helps to fix your issue. Have a nice day. |

Hello, Thank you for the updates. I noticed everything works properly when you resave the category base strip settings from your WordPress Dashboard > SEO > Search Appearance > Taxonomy > Category URLs options, then, you resave your permalinks from your WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks options. You can confirm it at: English: Portuguese: Hope it helps, have a nice day. |

Hello, Thank you for the updates. As said we need to confirm if we have a compatibility issue, if we have it, then we'll investigate all the details, at my first tests, I wasn't able to replicate the issues. Do you see these issues in our test environment at: hidden link? No need to install all the plugins, just the minimal required to replicate the issues. Please, try to reproduce it and let me know if it happens, then we move forward in the compatibility tests. Thank you for your collaboration and patience, have a nice day. |

Just another quick note, it only works perfectly without any errors when i do SEO>SEARCH PRESENTATION>TAXONOMIES>CATEGORIES URL and put it as KEEP, but the problem with that, is that is going to show always in url the word "category" |

Hello, Thank you for the updates. Could you please, confirm if you see the same issue using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/no-category-base-wpml/ instead of the remove category base from Yoast? The end result will be the same, please, make sure to resave your permalinks from your WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks settings. Please, let me know, have a nice day. |
