Just a quick thing, i now tried doing the following.
Creating a new category, and translating it in the WPML TAXONOMIE translation, and did the same on creating a sub-category.
After that i assigned a post to them, but still doing the same error.
PS: This was all made in the website we gave you guys, because i wanted to make sure i wasnt doing anything wrong

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. I took a more detailed approach in order to narrow down this issue and it seems we have some sort of cache interfering in the breadcrumb output here. I proceeded this way:

1 - I created a new test site at: hidden link

2 - I created two test categories, translated them and created a test post and translated it as well.

3 - At this point I do the issue happening when the 'Category URLs' option is set as 'Remove' at WordPress Dashboard > SEO > Search Appearance > Taxonomies settings.

4 - However the issue is gone if you take these steps when changing the Yoast SEO category base settings:

4.1 - When you are running the most recent versions of the Yoast SEO (16.4) and WPML SEO (2.0.1) plugins.

4.2 - You resave your Yoast SEO settings for your 'Category URLs' option.

4.3 - You resave your permalinks structure from your WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks settings.

4.4 - You resave the posts/page where the breadcrumb is being displayed in both languages.

Do you see the same results in your website as well? Please, let me know, have a nice day.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. It is weird why I can't replicate the issues in your staging/test website, I tried some combinations of scenarios and it seems to work properly for new category terms, please, consider:

1 - Parent and child terms with different slugs:

Portuguese - hidden link - Please, click the breacrumb in this page.

English - hidden link - Please, click the breacrumb in this page.

2 - Terms with the same slug for all the languages

Portuguese - hidden link - Please, click the breacrumb in this page.

English - hidden link - Please, click the breacrumb in this page.

For both cases, it works properly. Do you see the issue happening in your stage website for new terms? If so, can you replicate it and record the steps to replicate the issue using this tool: hidden link? It will help me to speed up the escalation process in case I need to contact our compatibilty team or second level support again.

Thank you for your collaboration, have a nice day.

Good Morning, i fixed it! yeay!
Basically what i did was, translated the pages title from the original language, then i put the slugs different too, and resaved ALL the pages, and i think that was the fix!
Once again appreciate all your help! and patience!
Have a great day!
