Background of the issue:
I have configured my website for English to be the source language. But since we are from Portugal, we want to have a translator review our source material.
Symptoms:
When I select these pages for translation, I get an error saying that the page is already translated.
Questions:
How should we proceed to have a translator review our source material?
Before one of my colleagues picks up your ticket, I'd like to guide you through a few initial steps that can help speed up the support process.
In WPML, the source language is fixed and can't be reviewed using the translation workflow. Since English is set as your source language, it's not possible to assign it to a translator for review within WPML’s translation management.
Instead, we suggest having your translator or reviewer go through the English content directly in the WordPress editor. They can provide feedback or suggest edits there, or work with a copy of the content outside WordPress—for example, by exporting the page or sharing it in a document. Once the content is reviewed and updated, you can continue with the translation process as usual.
If you're using a different workflow or if We’ve misunderstood your setup, feel free to let us know!
Thanks
